Illegal Gill Net - Little River, SC

Photos taken during a charter on 11/25/09.

 Thanks to the quick actions of Melissa, Joe, Grant, & Jared many juvenile shark (dogfish) were cut free and released, but many fish were already dead.

The gill net was outside of the only legal gill netting area in South Carolina. Gill Nets are indiscriminate killers and it needs to stop!
